Host Hotel Information
This year's host hotel is the Embassy Suites Denver Downtown Convention Center.
The hotel rate at the Embassy Suites will be $194 a night plus any applicable taxes or fees. We encourage you to make your hotel reservations early as we anticipate the hotel room block selling out quickly. The discounted hotel rate will end on February 27, 2017. Denver International Airport
The Denver Airport Rail will take you from the airport to Denver Union Station, which is located a mile from the Embassy Suites Downtown Denver. The fee for this is $9 each way. From Union Station you can hop on the free MallRide Shuttle which drops you off 2 blocks from the hotel.
Parking: The hotel offers only valet for $40 per day.
Continuing Education Credits
The AAPA is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS PACETM Program. To be eligible to receive continuing education credit, you must have passed the ASCP BOC exam prior to this meeting. To receive credit, you must arrive and sign-in within the first 10 minutes of the start of each and every lecture.
The maximum number of CE credits available at our 2017 Spring Meeting is fifteen (15).
Remember, a new perk of being an AAPA member is automated ASCP credit transfer. Members who have provided their ASCP Customer ID will have their AAPA PACE credits earned at this meeting and all additional credits earned throughout the year, seamlessly transferred to their ASCP transcript each week.
All registrations submitted and received online are considered confirmed registrations. Written notice to cancel must be received via fax, mail, or email by February 6, 2017, to receive an 80% refund. No refunds will be given after February 6. For cancellations due to illness after February 6, 2017, a refund of 80% will be given with the submission of a physician's note. If the AAPA cannot hold this meeting due to acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, or curtailment of transportation or other emergencies making it inadvisable, illegal, or impossible to provide the facilities or to hold the meeting, each prepaid registrant will receive meeting materials electronically. Fixed meeting expenses will be paid from the pre-registration funds. Any remaining funds will be refunded to pre-registrants. The AAPA is not responsible for any other costs incurred by pre-registrants in connection with this meeting.

All activities are business casual (no shorts, t-shirts, or jeans).
Expect daytime temperatures in the mid 50s and evening temperatures in the low 30s.
