Workshops offered at the 2017 Fall Continuing Education Conference:
Anatomic Pathology CPT Coding and Compliance 
Monday, 9/25, 2:30-5:30 pm
This workshop will discuss how reimbursement is correlated with the CPT, PQRS, and ICD-10 codes, and how as a pathologists' assistant you are uniquely qualified to assist in this process. We will discuss different aspects of the process, and if you have any specific questions, please bring de-identified examples for discussion. Three CE credits.

Review and Update for the Handling of Breast Specimens
Monday, 9/25, 3:00-5:00 pm
This course will provide pathologists’ assistants with a comprehensive review and update of handling of breast specimens including intraoperative evaluation of breast specimens and axillary lymph nodes, clinical significance of margin evaluations, and appropriate sectioning of different breast specimens. Material will be presented in lecture format by one pathologist and one pathologists’ assistant who have extensive experience in handling breast specimens. The course additionally will include an interactive session consisting of case-based presentations and Q&A. Two CE credits.
