Registration

Registration will open December 9, 2019, at 11 am CST.  Registration is open until March 16, 2020, or until sold out.  REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 125 REGISTRANTS.

Space is limited for this smaller, condensed meeting, focused solely on CE.  Register as soon as possible to guarantee your spot!  Based on your attendance, you can earn up to fifteen (15) CE credits.

Pricing: 
Members staying at hotel or live within 60 miles: $575
Members staying offsite: $725

Non-Members staying at hotel or live within 60 miles: $675
Non-Members staying offsite: $825


Host Hotel Information

This year's host hotel is the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown.

Hotel Reservations:
The hotel rate at the Embassy Suites Hilton Charlotte Uptown will be $209 a night plus any applicable taxes or fees.  The discounted hotel rate will end on February 21, 2020.  To book your reservation click here, or contact the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown directly at (704) 940-2517 and mention the reservation is for the AAPA Meeting.

Transportation

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown is located 10 miles from the Charlotte/Douglas International Airport (CLT) and 15 miles away from the Concord-Padgett Regional Airport. Continuing Education Credits

View sessions and tentative schedule (subject to change)

Based on your attendance, you can earn up to fifteen (15) CE credits.  The AAPA is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS PACETM Program.  To be eligible to receive continuing education credit, you must have passed the ASCP BOC exam prior to this meeting.  To receive credit, you must arrive and sign-in within the first 10 minutes of the start of each and every lecture.

The maximum number of CE credits available at our 2020 Spring Meeting is fifteen (15).

Remember, a perk of being an AAPA member is automated ASCP credit transfer.  Members who have provided their ASCP Customer ID will have their AAPA PACE credits earned at this meeting and all additional credits earned throughout the year, seamlessly transferred to their ASCP transcript each week.


Cancellation Policy

All registrations submitted and received online are considered confirmed registrations.  Written notice to cancel must be received via fax, mail, or email by February 21, 2020, to receive an 80% refund.  No refunds will be given after February 21, 2020.  For cancellations due to illness after February 21, 2020, a refund of 80% will be given with the submission of a physician's note.  If the AAPA cannot hold this meeting due to acts of God, war, government regulations, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, or curtailment of transportation or other emergencies making it inadvisable, illegal, or impossible to provide the facilities or to hold the meeting, each prepaid registrant will receive meeting materials electronically.  Fixed meeting expenses will be paid from the pre-registration funds.  Any remaining funds will be refunded to pre-registrants.  The AAPA is not responsible for any other costs incurred by pre-registrants in connection with this meeting.


Attire & Weather

All activities are business casual (no shorts, t-shirts, or jeans). 
Expect daytime temperatures in the low to mid 60s and evening temperatures in the upper 30s.
