Adjunct Appointments to the Board of Trustees for 2018
Jon H. Wagner, MHS, PA(ASCP)CM

Jon has served as the AJCC representative since the AAPA became a member organization of the AJCC in 2013. After finishing his term on the BOT in 2016, Jon was appointed to serve as the AJCC Adjunct. Jon attends an annual AJCC meeting, participates in AJCC committees, and proudly represents the AAPA and our members at the highest level to the 21 other AJCC member organizations, which represent a collection of associations with like-minded missions focused on quality patient care.
In addition to his adjunct role, Jon wears several other hats including serving as AAPA’s Director of Professional Outreach and Editor-in-Chief of the Grossing Guidelines.

Mary was recently appointed by the BOT taking over for Cherie German as the APATP Adjunct. She will serve as a representative to the AAPA participating in APATP meetings and keeping the lines of communication open between the two groups.

Mike has served as our representative to the ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) Board of Governors (BOG) since 2014 when he took over for Rae Rader. Mike attends the ASCP annual meeting, participates on ASCP committees, and represents the AAPA and our members to the ASCP.

Liz was appointed as the Legislative Adjunct taking over for Rosie Falcon this past July. Liz monitors legislative activity and communicates updates to the members as appropriate.

Jim has served as our representative on the NAACLS Board of Directors since 2015 when he took over for Jerry Phipps. Jim attends biannual NAACLS meetings, serves on the NAACLS Bylaws committee, chairs the NAACLS Quality Assurance committee, and represents the AAPA and our members to NAACLS.
