Get involved in San Antonio!  Volunteering your time is a great way to meet members and ultimately ensure a successful experience for all attendees.


Please complete this questionnaire by Friday, September 15, to help us gauge how we can best utilize you as a volunteer. 

Please share your attendance plans. You are not volunteering for anything just yet!

Breakfast scanning is 6:50 am - 7:55 am daily, with the exception of Thursday. Breakfast scanning overlaps with the start of the lecture scanning. We would prefer to not assign a volunteer to scan for both breakfast and the lectures on any given day.

With the exception of Thursday, lecture scanning begins at 7:40 am daily and ends 10 minutes after the start of the final lecture for that day. Lecture scanners will be assigned by day. Scanners are needed to scan for the entire series of lectures (3 - 5) on any given day.

We are looking for one bell ringer who is up to the challenge of keeping us on time the entire week! When live streaming the conference, it’s more important than ever that we stay on schedule. The bell ringer will need to be in regular communication with the production team and help keep things moving along.

Food & Beverage oversight is needed to ensure we are receiving what was ordered from the hotel, quality is being monitored, and appropriate levels are being maintained, all within budget. Volunteers are needed a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the start of the function and are to closely watch the F&B throughout their entire assignment.

Registration desk helpers are used to assist as needed and should check in beginning at 6:45 am and throughout the day. It is possible that you may not be utilized, but just the fact that you're checking in regularly and available if needed on your assigned day is extremely helpful.

Helpers are needed for both the poster sessions and the specialty discussion groups.

Help with the Happy Hour Fun Run on Thursday afternoon (moved from Sunday morning).

Tasks include: Organize participants, direct them on course, hand out drink tickets at the end to participants.

Meet in the lobby with participants to lead Dinner with Strangers group outing.

The production team is looking for members who are technologically savvy.
