What Our Members Say
I can definitely say, my life would be quite different without the support and education that I have received from the AAPA in my role as a pathologists’ assistant since 1970. For these reasons, I continue to renew my membership and choose to volunteer on the membership committee to pay it forward.
Coy Wagoner, PA(ASCP)CM
AAPA Founding Father and Membership Committee member
Life is short and true mentors - personal and professional - are rare. Happily, this scarce and precious commodity is concentrated in the American Association of Pathologists' Assistants. Here I have found mentorship and certification, job opportunities, salary negotiations, networking, and continuing education. The people of the AAPA understood our profession and were willing to show me the way through the forest. For me, membership and participation have been the road 'that has made all the difference.'
