Journal Advertising Opportunities

The Journal of the AAPA, The Cutting Edge

  • Place your product or company ad directly in the hands of AAPA members (2000+).
  • The journal is released in both digital and hard copy formats on a quarterly schedule.
  • Choose between full-, half-, or quarter-page ads automatically placed in both the print and online, interactive versions.
  • 2019 advertising is priced at $825 for full-page, $495 for half-page, and $275 for quarter-page ads.

 

Promotional Opportunities

Mailing Labels to Advertise a Product or Service

  • Mailing labels of all active AAPA members (2000+) may be obtained through the AAPA Central Office to advertise a product or service. Please submit your label order and payment by completing the AAPA Label Order form. If you have any questions or problems with your online order, please contact the AAPA Central Office.
  • Upon receipt of payment, the labels will be mailed by standard first-class mail to the designated address. Labels are normally mailed within one (1) week of receiving payment.
  • Sales tax applies to label purchases made in MN.
  • Please note: In an effort to protect our members' privacy, we cannot provide mailing label information on disk or in an Excel file.
  • Label requests to promote a product or service need to be approved by the AAPA. The fee is $350 to purchase the set of labels for a one-time mailing.

 

 

Hiring a PA

AAPA Job Hotline

  • The most effective way to announce a job opening for a pathologists’ assistant is through the AAPA Job Hotline. Members are able to access the AAPA Job Hotline 24 hours a day through the Members Only section of www.pathassist.org. Our membership consists of PAs and does not include other laboratory personnel such as histotechnologists or cytotechnologists.
  • Please submit your job ad and payment directly through our website by completing the AAPA Job Hotline form. If you have any questions or problems with your online order, please contact the AAPA Central Office.
  • The fee is $295 to have your ad published for a length of three (3) months on the AAPA website, and includes a social media announcement on our Facebook page. This fee is non-refundable.
  • Upon receipt, ads can take up to three (3) business days to be processed. Once your ad and payment are processed, a confirmation email will be sent to you.

  • Mailing labels of all active AAPA members (2000+) may be obtained through the AAPA Central Office to announce a job opening. Please submit your label order and payment by completing the AAPA Label Order form. If you have any questions or problems with your online order, please contact the AAPA Central Office.
  • Non-members can purchase the labels for a fee of $275. AAPA members can purchase the labels for a discounted fee of $195.

List of Locum Tenens PAs

  • AAPA maintains a list of Locum Tenens PAs willing to work regionally or across the country.
  • Non-members can purchase a one-time use list for a fee of $149. AAPA members can pull the list themselves using the Directory Search. Otherwise they can purchase the list for a discounted fee of $49.
  • To complete the order form, you must have either a member or web user profile.
  • Upon receipt of payment, the list will be emailed in PDF format to the form contact.

Any individual or group who wishes to help support the AAPA by paying an annual fee set by the Board of Trustees can apply for membership. Sustaining Members will be entitled to all privileges except the right to vote on Association matters, hold office, serve as a committee chair, or have access to job listings and/or the online forum.

The AAPA may reject Sustaining Member applications if it is decided that the individual or group’s business and/or personal practices, by its nature, constitute a conflict with the AAPA Bylaws, interests, principals, ethics, and mission statement.
